Before starting this prayer to sell a house I would like to make a brief reflection on this topic, which is important, since when we are going to pray for some purpose we must do it with full understanding, in the correct way. And what way to do it if not by giving you a few small details about this sales issue so that you have the certainty that what you are doing comes from God and you can obtain the security that it is approved by him.
An example that many people mistakenly do.
A few months ago someone asked for prayers to sell a house fast. After praying for the person, another lady who was nearby and heard the request and advised the person to bury the statue of St. Joseph in the front yard and that would cause the house to sell pretty quickly.
Have you heard of this before?
Apparently, there are people who keep statues of Saint Joseph only for the purpose of selling their clients’ houses! They dig a hole in the yard of the house and bury the statue as a good luck charm to sell the house.
Let me first say that this is not biblical. There is no scripture in the Bible that supports burying anything for God to do something for you. If you have this write up, please feel free to leave it in the comments below. This sounds more like witchcraft than something from Almighty God! To be clear, Saint Joseph in reference is the husband of Mary.
If God wants you to sell that house and move, then pray this prayer to sell a house very fast. You won’t have to worry about the economy because God is bigger than that! You can sell your house when no one else is selling it. So there is absolutely no need for you to worry about it not selling.
(2 Timothy 1:7) “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound judgment.”
You also can’t be too greedy expecting your home buyer to pay more than a reasonable price.
(Leviticus 25:14) “If you sell the land to one of your own, or buy the land from them, do not take advantage of one another.”
Yes! We all want the wonderful testimony of how God blessed us in selling our house and we made so much money doing it, but this should never come at the expense of taking advantage of someone else. God is watching and this will not please him. The money you earned by being dishonest in that deal will be taken from you in many other ways. Not worth it. Be honest.
Do some research online about putting up your home for sale and make sure you do everything you can to be ready for your buyer. You have to pray about this too. And use wisdom.
Please keep this very important point in mind, you are only selling your house to one person. All you need is one person. You don’t have to worry about the ratios of how many people need to look at your home before selling it. You only need one. God can provide that person with the first person that walks in the door.
