Heavenly Father, in the book of Wisdom it is written,
For wisdom will not enter a malicious soul, nor will it dwell in a body subject to sin.
Lord, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing I can do to be completely holy before you.
But you, Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and full of unfailing love and faithfulness.
God, your love for humanity is so great that you gave your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.
Now, I ask you, Eternal Father, to cleanse and purify my soul, so that your promise can be fulfilled in my life.
And because you are faithful in your word, today I want to thank you, because your wisdom is pacifying, meek, merciful and willing to yield to others.
Thank you for pouring out your wisdom day by day while I remain in you.
Show me what to do in whatever situation I may be facing today. I need your heavenly vision of things.
Thank you for making your divine wisdom available to me through your indwelling Holy Spirit!
May my love increase more and more in knowledge and in all kinds of perception,
to discern what is of value, so that I may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
full of the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, in Jesus Name, amen.
