Biography of Padre Pio
Francesco Forgion, his real name, born in Pietrelcina, Italy, on May 25, 1887 in a poor familybut very devoted. From her earliest years, she showed an inclination for ecclesiastical life in which she began at the age of 16 in the Morcone convent, in which she spent some impeccable years in the service of God.
From his childhood, Francesco suffered from severe and constant illnesses that would last until the hour of his death.
