CHRISTIANNEWS.COM- In the United States, a huge Noah’s ark, which houses life-size articulated figures inside, of animals such as sheep, deer, and even dinosaurs, has become a symbol of creationismwhich attracts evangelical Christian crowds, with its staging and political messages.
The amusement park, which is added to a Museum of Creation, affirms that God created the Earth, in six days, around the year 4000 BC, and fiercely denounces the theory of evolution, reports La Nación.
These beliefs, far from being marginal, are part of an American society, in which some people question established truths, even about the extinction of the dinosaurs, 65 million years ago.
“We think that a large majority disappeared during the flood,” explains Mark Looy, co-founder of the project, lamenting that, “dinosaurs have been commonly used, by evolutioniststo protect their view of the world.”

Managed by the organization, Answers in Genesis and financed by a campaign of donations, opened in 2007, in Petersburg, eastern Kentuckycentral United States.

In 2016, this creationist association inaugurated in Williamstown, 70 kilometers away, its Noah’s ark, of impressive dimensions, with 150 meters long, 15 high, and 25 wide.
Since then, the two sites have remained packed, despite a combined entry fee, of $85 per adult.
