The story of the 21-year-old is marked by many blessings. She was born in Lianjiang, China, and was abandoned on the steps of a hospital, however, God’s grace was with her as well, and at 13 months she was adopted by a family in California.
“Adoption reflects Christ, because God chooses us as his children,” explained the actress. “I could have had a totally different story, and I’m so thankful that He chose me.”
The young woman said that she did not feel deserving of the blessings that she began to receive from her roles in Disney and Nickelodeon productions.
