Meeting the Archangels
The existence of angels is a truth of faith. His presence in the Bible is the most incontestable testimony. They are incorporeal, spiritual, perfect beings, created by God at the beginning of time with the aim of making them his servants and messengers.
They have always and forever beheld the face of God, ready to rush at his every command, attentive listeners and executors of his word.
They are, therefore, spirits that exist for Him and in Him, and yet they are also close to Man, through the faithful between the will of the Most High and his creatures.
Therefore, the angels live in the contemplation of God and act as messengers.
Michael, Gabriel and Raphael
Since ancient times, the fact that the angelic ranks are organized in a kind of heavenly Court, in which the angels have different degrees and dignities, has been considered.
The three archangels occupy the highest spheres of this angelic hierarchy.. They too have tasks similar to those of ordinary angels, but their duties are even greater and more important.
It is their duty to contemplate God, day and night, to glorify Him unceasingly by preserving and protecting the mystery. Their very names suggest their role and their very nature: they all end with “El”, meaning “God”.
