According to the artist, he follows to the letter the descriptions of the angels provided by the prophets Ezekiel, Isaiah and John where they describe the angels.
Precisely the verses in which Pfeiffer was inspired were: “Ezekiel I: 4-14, Isaiah VI: 2-8 and Revelation 4:8m. In these texts, seraphim and cherubs are mentioned.
The representation of the angels that the artist made is far from the appearance with which people identify angels.
According to the artist’s visual description, the angels would not have two wings as some think, but more. In addition, the artist omitted any human trait from his depiction of angels, which goes against the common belief that angels have the bodies of men.
Angels are special entities that are part of the heavenly court and that detail all religions that depend on the Bible.
