Authorities approve reopening churches in Costa Rica

.- The health authorities of Costa Rica approved the request of the Alianza Evangélicas Costarricenses Federation, to reopen the churches in the Central American country.

The Costa Rican Ministry of Health approved the “National Protocol for the reopening of evangelical churches COVID-19, presented on May 8, by the religious organization, according to the Latin Evangelical Alliance, AEL.

In the endorsement extended by the health authorities, they recognize the work of the Evangelical Alliance Federation, against the pandemic. They also highlight that the congregations complied with the recommendations and administrative measures applied by the government to prevent the spread of the disease.

Recommendations will follow

“This challenge will not be achieved if it were not for all the actions that are carried out from the different poles of the population and you contributed significantly to it” was part of the statements by the Costa Rican health authorities.

They added that the decision was made after analyzing the planning document to reopen the churches presented by the religious organization. For this reason, they determined “solid and accurate” to provide continuity in religious acts in the safest and most timely way.

The Ministry of Health specifies that the recommendations, suggestions and processes contemplated in the protocol comply with the sanitary guidelines.

Among them a maximum of 75 people, respecting a distance of 1.8 meters between people.

“We will be validating the General Guidelines for Religious Acts, by the Ministry of Health, so that the process is sensitized and validated by both parties, which we will send in a timely manner,” said the governing institution of Health in Costa Rica, according to HIM.
