.- One of the tattoos of the singer Camilo Echeverry, has created controversy in social networks, after some photos he published when his wife Evaluna Montaner gave birth.
In the image you can see the tattoo on one of his shoulders, the singer said: «The night before they went to look for him to crucify him, he was sitting saying: Well, if it is possible for this pod to happen that is going to happen tomorrow, I was doubting ». (See video here).
In the Bible, doubt and fear are sins. In fact, Jesus himself describes doubt as the opposite of faith (Matthew 14:31, 21:21, Mark 11:23).
The word of God clearly states that he who does not do things with faith, but doubts, commits sin. Doubt is clearly a sin.
To say that Jesus had doubts is to make him a transgressor. But that is not at all the biblical representation of Jesus. Yes, Jesus can sympathize with all our weaknesses and, yes, he was tempted in all things as we are. But he did it without sin! (Hebrews 4:15).
The amazing and spectacular thing about Jesus’ suffering is that he never doubted his Father, and he never feared man. “When he suffered, he did not threaten, but he continued to entrust himself to him who judges righteously” (1 Peter 2:23). Not only that, the Bible says that Jesus was motivated by the joy of carrying the cross.
Jesus knew how terrible the crucifixion would be before it happened (Matthew 16:21). There is a reason He prayed, “If it is possible, let this cup pass from me” (Matthew 26:39). The anguish of the cross was real, and He knew it.
However, the Bible teaches that Jesus’ vision never stagnated at death. Jesus saw directly through the cross to the resurrection on the other side. You and I may fear death, but Jesus never did.
