Can a Christian find a partner on Tinder?

.- A video of the preacher Esau Mejía has gone viral on social networks, where he spoke about whether Christians can find a partner on Tinder.

When starting the video, Mejía enters the Tinder platform where he finds the testimony of a Christian who says: “I met my future wife on Tinder during the Covid quarantine. We are devout Christians and we fall madly in love.”

Then, the preacher mentioned that not all cases are like this, since many people have ended up deceived and scammed. As revealed in the Netflix documentary, The Tinder Scammer. (See video here).

Subsequently, Mejía gave some recommendations to Christian singles who want to find a partner or their future wife on Tinder.

“They should look for a girl who has good Christian values, who loves God and who has a biblical concept of marriage,” he explained.

On the other hand, he recommended that Tinder not be the first and only option to find the love of their lives. “Take into account the context or nature of Tinder. It’s designed to attract people who just want easy or shallow relationships,” he said.

Finally, he added: “If you enter that world, the chances that you will find the right person are less, although they are also possible,” the preacher concluded.

reactions to his words

«The best thing is to meet in person, and keep getting to know each other every day. Pray to God to show him his partner, above all things that is Christian, that they have the same faith. To avoid falling into trouble for not sharing the same faith,” wrote Narciso Castro.

«The truth is that I am a Christian, and I signed up for tinder, but in less than an hour I left. Since all the men who spoke to me only dealt with sexual topics, and in fact I emphasized that I was a Christian. It’s not worth it, God takes care of our love life, He likes to see us happy, “said Gladys Ospina.

For her part, Luz Morales expressed: “I believe that we must wait for God’s timing. Because it is God who sees hearts, and he knows how to give one the best. To get ahead of God’s plans. Everything must be in his time, whatever the decision is so as not to regret it. I understood, thank God.”
