Cartoon scene prompts boys to dress up as girls

.- A scene from the Brazilian cartoon series “Hermano de Jorel”, available on the Netflix video streaming platform, has divided the opinion of Internet users.

An Instagram page called Vovó Juju -protagonist of the series-, which has more than 130,000 followers, published a controversial passage last weekend.

In the video, the characters Vovó Juju and Señor Edson, grandmother and father of Hermano de Jorel, advise the boy to wear girl’s clothes to participate in a women’s sport.

For some netizens, the dialogue in the drawing confuses the minds of children, who are the target audience for animation, and experts also say the same.

On Instagram, the Page’s post received hundreds of reviews and generated a lot of discussion around it.

This is not the first time that a children’s animation shown by Netflix has generated controversy because it contains an apology or an LGBTQIA + theme.

Pastors and religious leaders have warned evangelicals about cartoons and children’s entertainment movies, because, according to them, little by little gender ideology has been implanted, in a subtle and hidden way.
