GUATEMALA.- The proliferation of false news on Facebook continues to grow and is influencing the Christian world. In this month alone, three false news have emerged involving three famous figures from the evangelical world.
The first was with Marcos Witt where he supposedly supported homosexuality and that he would marry Ricky Martin with his new gay partner. To which the psalmist denied by stating: “Contrary to the LIE that runs around, I will NOT be marrying Ricky Martin. Please don’t believe the slander and rumors of sensationalism.”
The second false news occurred over the weekend when many Christians asked for prayer for the psalmist Jesús Adrián Romero because he had suffered a fatal accident during a concert in Texas after the stage collapsed. The alleged photos of what happened gave no indication that there were survivors. However, a few hours later a friend of Jesús Adrián Romero stated on Twitter that he contacted him and that he is fine “unless it was from beyond the grave.” Later, the same singer joked that “it was a greeting from beyond the grave.”

Now the third false news is about Pastor Cash Luna. A few hours ago, the news that the Guatemalan pastor passed away has gone viral. Because of this, Cash Luna, founder of the mega-church “House of God,” shared a message with his followers to invite them. to “EXPOLIT”, thus eliminating any doubt, there he took the opportunity to clarify that he is fine: “Here I am alive and kicking,” he expressed on Instagram. With almost a million fans on Instagram and five million on Facebook, he has become one of the most followed Guatemalans in that country.
