.- The Twitter account Libs of TikTok showed a video last Sunday where children dance for money at a drag queen convention.
The video was recorded at the event, RuPaul’s DragCon 2022, held in Los Angeles.
During this convention, drag queen artists from different locations in the United States participated.
The Libs of TikTok account posted the video in a tweet with the message: “Nothing to see here… just a kid dancing for adults with drag queens on stage for money at a drag convention.”
According to an FAQ page, RuPaul’s DragCon is open to children of all ages, and children 8 and under could enter for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
As part of the conference programming, a “Children’s Fashion Show” was held on Sunday sponsored by the Los Angeles Public Library.
On Monday, Libs of TikTok also posted a Twitter thread featuring various drag queen events that included children.
The account wrote about these events: “They say he is innocent. They say it’s all about inclusion and acceptance. They say that no one is trying to confuse, corrupt or sexualize children. They lie,” the account wrote.
An additional example included in the thread was a children’s drag show on May 15, which took place at the Duluth Flame gay nightclub in Minnesota.
