Chinese virologist who denounced the creation of Covid-19 accepts Jesus

CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- In 2020, the Chinese virologist Li-Meng Yan became known throughout the world after denouncing the Chinese government and the World Health Organization.

The allegations were for covering up information about SARS-CoV-2 and revealing that the virus was intentionally grown in the laboratory, reports Charisma News.

Dr. Yan, who has a degree in immunology and virology from the University of Hong Kong, said she was directly involved in Covid-19 research along with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the virus is rumored to have been manufactured.

Discovering that the virus was transmissible from person to person, the researcher says she tried to alert her superiors in December 2019.

Yan revealed that the Chinese government and WHO knew about the risks of the virus, but her investigation was silenced, forcing her to flee Hong Kong in April 2020.

“I came to the United States not only for my own personal protection, but to tell the world the truth about the virus on my own,” said the virologist.

meeting with jesus

In the midst of the whirlwind of his complaints, threats and accusations of misinformation, Yan had an encounter with Jesus after giving a talk at a church in Hawaii.

After finishing the speech, the church sang to him the passage from Numbers 6:24-26, which says: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and have mercy on you; the Lord turn his face towards you and grant you peace ”.

As the people sang and proclaimed God’s blessing, she began to cry. Unbeknownst to the church, this was an answer to her grandmother’s prayer before she was born.

One of Yan’s earliest memories is the thick little Chinese Bible, always present in the family home, as well as his grandmother’s kind and understanding manner.

Due to the persecution of Christians in China, the faith was not discussed. But as the church sang the blessing, the memories came back and her face filled with tears.

“I was so touched,” she says. “I felt so much the power of God and the love of Jesus that my grandmother showed me since I was little that the next day I confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and was baptized. My life changed”.

Change of life with Christ

Although China is totally controlled by communist ideology, which officially promotes state atheism, Yan is the fruit of seeds sown by missionaries in the past.

“In the midst of the most difficult moment, God used all of this to answer my grandmother’s prayer and lead me to Jesus. My faith in Christ has given me a new perspective as I work to spread the truth of what China has done and continues to do,” she revealed.

Yan is currently working on a book about his experience and is available to speak at churches, schools, and events across the United States. She is also working to resume her scientific work. This time with the hope and vision of using her gifts for the glory of God.
