The subject who robbed the house was recorded by the home’s security cameras, but Jennifer Collier, a member of the stolen family, did not report it to the authorities.
Collier left the thief a message in a public Facebook group.
“To the handsome young man who stole from us tonight: If you see this and wish to return what you took from us, there will be no questions asked. Just put the two leaf vacs back on my front porch,” he wrote.
Likewise, the affected woman told him that she had a gift for him: “I am praying for you. Whatever you are looking for in life to make you happy, I can assure you that there is no person or thing alive that will fill that void. If you want to know more, there will be a Bible on my porch for you if you decide to return what you stole.”
“None of us is perfect, not even me. We all mess up and do things we shouldn’t. It is not too late to fix things, “the Christian woman ended up writing.
The woman who acts with mercy reminded us of the importance of loving our neighbor as ourselves.
The gift Bible will remain on the porch until the man returns with the stolen items.
