The following prayers are for you to pray for the restoration of your marriage. As Christians we go through difficult times in our marriages, just like in the unsaved world. However, the only thing we have is our Savior Jesus Christ to whom we turn with our marriage restoration prayers.
He is waiting for us to come to him and allow him to work in our lives. The Word of God says, “Whom God has joined together, let no one separate.” Therefore, it is his will that his marriage work. When you go to Him in prayer keep this in mind so that you do not doubt that this is his will for your life.
There are times when even after you have prayed these prayers for the restoration of your marriage, it still has not been restored. Well, there are several things you should keep in mind:
Are they both saved? If not, then you need to look at the Salvation Prayer also known as the Sinners Prayer.
God wants what is best for both of you, so you need to be open to where He will lead you. You both need to be praying through this process and confessing your sins so that nothing stands in the way of your answered prayers.
Christian Prayer to Restore a Marriage
Heavenly Father, Today I stand before you with a heavy heart; my marriage is in trouble, and i need your help. Make changes in the heart of my spouse. Make us compatible again, and help us get closer. Fill us with your love and give us the strength to love each other, care for each other, and fulfill your destiny with us.
Show us the damage caused by careless words, and the pain caused by emotional distance. Help us unite, as we were before. To love each other again. Heal the division between us. Make us one again. In your name, I beg you, Amen.
Prayer to restore my marriage and home
Almighty Lord, you are in heaven and always protect me from my enemies, I beg you to bless my marriage so that the love that once united me with (name of person) is born again.
I am grateful that you have never abandoned me in times of scarcity and misery, because with you by my side I have managed to avoid all obstacles.
Father, thank you for blessing me despite all the faults I commit against you on a daily basis. I constantly offend you, but your mercy overcomes everything and, therefore, you never abandon me.

Lord please, I pray that my heart’s desire be granted, the return of the love of my life, my one true love. I pray that my spouse can heal his past hurts and forgive all that has gone wrong.
Lord, help my husband (wife) to be able to follow his heart’s desire and love for me and permanently return to me to be forever reconciled as one, as husband and wife.

Lord, I ask that you allow healing and reconciliation to take place. That any damage or disappointment you have experienced can be repaired through the power of your eternal and immortal Love. We realize Father that they cannot change anything that has happened. But, they can move forward together by keeping, renewing, and once again honoring their vows. We ask that you endow them with wisdom to endure and a tongue that speaks healing, restoration and peace.
I ask that you mend their hearts together and be the center of their marriage. Lord, we ask that they seek forgiveness for anything wrong they do. We pray for love and patience to spread and for the lines of communication, sensitivity and understanding to open up again. We ask that you allow all the pain and disappointment to begin to subside. Lord, we ask that forgiveness be welcomed by each one of them. Lord, we ask that you allow your JOY to flow once more from heart to heart between them. Father, we ask that you lead them as they look to you first in building trust, transparency, and intimacy. Father, we pray for peace in your house, in Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Lord, my marriage has almost collapsed and I hardly know when things started to go wrong. Things have become increasingly difficult and tense and the love we once had for each other seems to be dying. I hate the idea of divorce and was shocked when it was first suggested and I come to You Lord asking You to guide and direct us both in this increasingly painful situation.
Sir, I don’t want us to separate or get divorced. I pray that in some wonderful way you use this as a wake-up call for both of us to seek you with all our hearts and to change the way we treat each other. I pray that we can begin to apply proper biblical principles in our marriage, instead of dragging each other down by what we say or don’t say.
Lord, I know that because of my attitude and my actions I have not been the husband/wife that You would have wanted me to be, but that I have not considered my wife in the way that you would like.
