.- Christian singers: Lauren Daigle, TobyMac, King & Country, Lecrae, among others, will sing in a broadcast to raise funds for churches financially affected by the coronavirus.

The event is in charge of the companies AND and Pulse, these organizations carry out the event called “Churches that help churches”.

The event will take place on May 15, as reported by the information portal The Christian Headlines.

The founder of the organization, Pulse, Nick Hall, stated that this event will be seen by different churches.

He also said that athletes, preachers and various artists are currently raising awareness about this campaign called “Churches that help churches”

Goal

The company, AND, created a $3,000 relief fund for the most vulnerable churches, the CBN News portal reported.

Nick Hall commented that due to the pandemic, some urban churches are at risk of not continuing.

He also said: “We are meeting to raise funds and help our brothers.”

According to The Christian Post portal, this broadcast is part of the AND campaign, which had previously set a goal for April of about $500,000 for churches at risk of closure.

Also, 471 donors managed to accumulate some 431 thousand dollars and got some 125 churches that will receive the grant.

The NFL star, Watson, is a spokesperson for the event and stated that the donation to the churches is important because many churches would not have the benefit of the government for several months.

Watson also said that $3,000, while it sounds like a lot, can help just a few small churches to sustain themselves for a week or a month.
