Christians stoned during baptism in China

NOTCIACRISTIANA.COM.- Criminals stoned Christians from the church Shenzhen in China while being baptized on a beach on September 10.

The baptism was scheduled to take place on September 3, however, due to sanitary measures due to the pandemic, it was held a week later.

It is not the first time that an attack like this has happened, since Christians are constantly harassed by the Chinese authorities.

According to the reporter of ChinaAid, Yu Bing, the church tried to keep the baptism a secret.

However, those who attended this rite of faith were forced to scan their health codes, a fundamental requirement to enter the beach first thing in the morning. In this way, the authorities were able to find the location of the Christians.

Attack

The pastor of the church was warned of the dangers Christians ran by performing this public baptism, however he decided to carry it out.

The attack occurred when the Christians gathered for a group photo, at which time 20 thugs approached and wanted to interrupt them.

Then, when the baptism began, the antisocials threw stones at the Christians.

While the antisocials attacked the Christians at the ceremony, the pastors Wu Lixin Y Mao Zhibin they decided to continue. Fortunately there were no injuries.

Reports indicate that a beach supervisor planned the attack.

“Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2022. Our Church baptized believers on the beach, but we were attacked with stones. Thanks to God’s protection, we were able to baptize two brothers and two sisters,” Mao Zhibin wrote on his Facebook account.
