Dear Lord, thank you because on this special date I can be surrounded by my beautiful family. Thank you for all of us who have gathered and for those of us who will enjoy together the arrival of the child God to our home. I ask your blessing for each of their hearts, for their lives and for their work. Blessed Lord, may we find in the arrival of the Christ, a starting point for our lives and our renewed hearts.
Heavenly Father, that we can understand that the arrival of Jesus is a date for reflection, union and well-being, that a power arises from our prayer that makes us transcend as a family, that makes us need You to achieve salvation. Lord, we know that no family is perfect, but we want to try to please you with our actions daily.
My beautiful Lord, we want prosperity and success in our family, That is why I ask you to prepare our hearts and our attitudes. May we sow the seeds of love and charity, may we establish a model of sacrifice and effort to achieve what we long for, allow us to serve you with love from where we have to be and grant us the opportunity to be humble and meek of heart.
Teach us to value and be grateful for the blessings you give us, for the air we breathe, for the stars that illuminate our path, for health, for the joy of our family, for complicated moments, because everything you allow is extraordinary. Teach us to be thankful for your blessings, even before we receive them, because the Lord is building something much better for us. Increase that faith that we lack to believe in your promises, blessed and eternal God.
I ask you, my beloved Father, for all the relatives who are no longer with us, for those who left this life for a better place or those who are far from here, due to work or some misunderstanding. May this Christmas be an opportunity to remember them with affection and nostalgia, to forgive us if there was a reason for separation and an opportunity to overcome the barriers of distance in order to share God’s love among us.
My good God, I ask you for the families that have some of their members suffering from illness, may your healing hand relieve physical and soul pain, may this Christmas represent hope and illusion for them. Give us the peace and strength to face this time of tension, worry and sadness. Remove from us all feelings of hopelessness and take refuge in the little child God to move forward in the midst of the test.
May this Christmas bring together families that are divided, comfort those who have experienced difficult times and have cracked within. May the arrival of Jesus solve the problems between brothers, parents and children and may the spirit of love and forgiveness revive the affection that once filled you with happiness.
Thank you Heavenly Father, because I know that you hear my prayers and that this Christmas, you will pour out your grace and your blessing on each of my relatives. May your Son be born once again in our hearts and may we understand the true meaning of Christmas, which is love, sharing and union among all of us, in Jesus name, Amen.
