Christmas table blessing
Father, we celebrate Christmas, the day on which Your Son, for love of us, became Man and was born of a woman: the Virgin Mary.
That Child gathers us around the table that we are going to share full of joy, hope, love and peace, because He makes it possible, today more than ever, for us to be Family.
We ask You to bless us and bless the bread that Your Love offers us.
We ask you for those who do not have bread, do not have a home, do not have a job, do not have a family, for those who do not have peace because they lack You.
We pray that the heart of every man be a humble manger, where Jesus can be born, and thus, overcoming everything that divides us, we may be able to renew this family every day. Amen.
