Church elder and missionary gives prophetic word for 2018

USA- Bill Yount, an elder and missionary at Bridge of Life Church in Hagerstown, Maryland, has said he believes the world is going to change greatly in 2018, and that God is about to do great things.

“I feel like 2018 will be an ‘all at once’ year,” she writes in an article for Charisma News. “All hell will break loose and all heaven will break loose, but heaven is bigger than hell.” I feel the presence of a great cloud of heavenly witnesses, including family members, who will rise up to encourage us in the coming year. The eyes of heaven are upon us, waving checkered flags in the distance.”

Yount acknowledged that 2018 is sure to bring many challenges, but as Christians, we can be sure that the Lord is at work in powerful ways. “It will be a year like when Houston got hit by a hurricane and they won the World Series.” Extreme tests and extreme victories. The tests will bring it. Priorities will change as these challenges arise,” he stressed.

“I hear the father say, ‘batten down the hatch.’ I feel this means that the prayer closet will become a very important place in our lives. “Open the hatches,” referring to closing the door to distractions, as we not only pray but listen to him speaking to us.”

Despite the trials and challenges of this coming year, Yount reminds us of an important truth: “Remember,” he writes, “Jesus lives in us, don’t be afraid and don’t worry about anything.”

“The mentality that we must have for this new year is: «Let’s make bears, make us lions and make us giants. That’s what we do. Because they will come this year to discover what is in us. These will be distractions to keep us from focusing on the Lord and worshiping him no matter what. I feel the enemy say, “I hope you don’t feel like worshiping the Lord this year with what I have in mind. If they do, that will reduce you to your situation.

Bill Yount has been a member of Bridge of Life in Hagerstown, Maryland, for the past 36 years, where he is now an elder and home missionary. He is currently the General Counsel of Aglow International. Bill served faithfully in the Mount Hope prison ministry for 23 years and now travels full time, both in the US and internationally, ministering in churches and Aglow circles.
