Dante Gebel brings more than 685 thousand dollars of financial aid to 25 countries

. – Dante Gebel, pastor of River Church in Anaheim California, revealed on his official Facebook account that, together with his church, they have managed to bring $685,300 in financial aid to 25 countries in a campaign that he calls: “This is church! ! Is there another way?

Gebel acknowledges that this figure is not very high compared to other foundations, but he believes that God has a purpose for the Hispanic church he pastors, since years ago they had been left without a temple when the Crystal Cathedral was sold in November 2011.

“We know that it is not much; compared to what large Foundations usually contribute. But the amazing thing is that we are a Church of Hispanics; that just a few years ago we were on the street (when the Crystal Cathedral closed its doors and asked us to become independent). But God told us: «They will be a RIVER that will extend to the whole world, and as the waters recede, they will get deeper. And this is just beginning!

This charity campaign is the product of a call that Dante made this year and what he has done has been to classify charitable foundations to give them a financial injection. In one of his many posts he said: “We will bless thousands of elderly people around the world, that forgotten generation that is leaving in silence.”

highly criticized pastor

It is nothing new to find in Dante’s publications many criticisms about why he publishes photos and videos of the donations that he has been taking, especially to Latin American countries, which is why he published this:

They often ask me: “How do you stand some critics who always find the cat’s fifth leg?”

And the answer is simple and it is also a spiritual principle: You will never meet someone who criticizes you and is more successful than you; Or do more than you do.

Rest assured, the one who is doing more than you does not have time to look at what you do and much less time to provide the “advice” or “suggestion” that they were never asked for.

In thirty years, I have NEVER been criticized by anyone who was doing more than I am. Never. He is always someone who tells me “what he would do” if he were in my place.

So the next time you get criticized, you know who you’re dealing with…

“Refrain from collaborating with the deluge”

One last Dante post was about a donation made in Argentina: Edu and Mirux from Emleca along with their group of friends went out to help by delivering more than 200 food packages in the Merlo and Marcos Paz areas of Argentina. We don’t even send them money; they only told us: can we use the River jerseys? and they were encouraged to share their food. This is Church. Is there any other way?

However, there was a person who strongly objected to Dante: «Jesus did not go out with a banner announcing everything he did for and for the people, on the contrary, he was humble, low profile, if you are going to do something for someone do it from the heart, without so much publicity, it seems that they are promoting a product…”.

The shepherd replied: Those network parasites who are in front of a mobile device without help (because they can’t or don’t want to) refrain from writing:

“When you give alms, let your left hand not know…” because it refers to the prayers that they make to be seen, or the tithes that they give to God, only to be seen by men.

The Bible is clear in Matthew 5: “You are the light of the world; a city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do you light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. So shine your light before men, so that they SEE your good WORKS, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

1) This is NOT alms, it is solidarity; they are good deeds.

2) The Foundations have the obligation (government and moral) to publicly show what they are doing with the funds and money of those who sow. What I give with my personal money, I never show it on networks.

3) It is a good testimony to show that the Church did not shut herself in and sit idly by, especially when thousands are saying: “And where is the Church now?”

4) Showing it encourages other churches and foundations to do the same.

5) Showing it makes it possible for those who need help to contact us.

6) This is called “transparency” towards our Church.

So if you don’t help with the ark, refrain from collaborating with the flood.
