Context of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians
In the city of Ephesus, some pagan deities were worshiped, especially Diana of Ephesus, from whom the brothers had turned away to convert to Christianity. So, in this context, Paul wrote to them to encourage them to persevere in their total devotion to the Lord Jesus by introducing them to the supremacy of the name, love, and power of Jesus Christ.
