On Saturday, May 5, one of the emerging icons of Christian rock in Spanish, the Argentine Pablo Olivares, was in Chile for the first time.
Pablo was in Chile promoting his new production “Voy a Entregar Mi Corazón” that came into his hands that same weekend, at the time the Chilean media witnessed the new video clips recorded in Russia, and that will be officially released together with the new album at Expolit 2007.
Pablo offered an extensive press conference where he talked about various topics regarding his ministry, his music, his new production and also about his rock style, a topic that causes controversy within evangelical churches.
The former member of bands such as Halogena, Rata Blanca, Soda Stereo, talked about his shocking testimony, how he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, as well as the problems he had to face when changing his life as a rockstar by 180 degrees.
Although it may seem contradictory, Pablo states in the interview that he does not recommend tattoos to young people, since he has many on his arms.
