Eternal God, night has fallen once again and I am about to lay my head on my pillow to rest from today’s exhausting day. However, I do not want to do it without first giving you infinite thanks for giving me the opportunity to live this day and all its moments. Tonight I implore your protection and care, Lordso that my sleep is restful and I can have a better tomorrow.
Merciful Father, thank you because throughout this day you taught me a lot, because with your wisdom you accumulate great lessons for my life. That is why you are worthy of all praise, glory and honor, blessed and heavenly Father, because tonight precious, my lips glorify you before ending this day.
Give me your protection tonight, my beloved God, that darkness is not a symbol of fear, but that it be a space to rest, leaving aside all doubt and concern. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to return home safely and thank you also, because you did not let go of my hand and did not let me fall into the temptations that could arise.
Tonight, good Lord, I want to ask your forgiveness if at any time I forgot about You. Forgive me, God of my life, because my lack of faith makes me doubt, sorry because my lack of firmness makes me forget that you are the only way to go. Forgive me for the offenses I could commit and forgive me too, beloved Father, for not knowing how to forgive and judge my brothers on some occasions.
Forgive me, merciful Lord, because perhaps the firmness that I was gaining made me believe that I was self-sufficient and forgive me, because many times pride made me lose judgment and distance myself from my peers. Take away from me all that evil, O Father of mercy, make me improve those aspects of my life little by little and banish those sensations from my heart.
I give you all my worries and pains On this night, be You who relieves my burdens and gives me the hope to believe that I will be able to get out of my difficulties. Holy Father, I love you and I know that you listen to my pleas and you will solve my sorrows one by one for the glory of your Holy Name.
I know that your love does not rest, that it does not stop and that while I sleep, You will take care of my sleep, you will give rest to my mind and my body, feeding me strength for a new tomorrow. Lord God, You are my guardian, You are my shield and my protection.
Almighty Lord, thank you for all the blessings today and thank you for hearing my prayer. Bless me with another day of life, snuggle me in your arms and, if it is your will, give my body the necessary rest to be able to have a profitable day tomorrow. I ask you for all this and I thank you deeply, in the name of your Son Jesus, Amen.
