My good Lord, tonight I come to You to thank you, once again, for the day you have allowed me to live, for all the blessings you have poured into my life and because, despite all the difficulties that have arisen along the way, I am sure that you never let me go or you left my side
Thank you wonderful Lord, because in the course of this day I was able to experience the gratifying feeling of having you with me, my God. Thank you, because it was You who took care of me from the dangers of the world, you gave me comfort, you put a plate of food on my table and you were my refuge of strength when I felt that I could not move forward.
How beautiful it is to know that when I arrive tonight, You accompany me and bathe my home with your sweet presence, blessed Lord. Go through every part of my house with your saving light and seal doors and windows with your most precious Blood, my Lord, because in this way the action of the enemy is null and void and we will be safe by your divine presence, my God.
I want to put my life and the lives of all my loved ones in your hands tonight, God of love. I ask you to take with that sweetness that only You have, each of our dreams, our goals and those longings that our hearts secretly keep, so that while we rest in your presence, it is You who continues to act for our lives.
Fill us with faith and hope, comforting Father. Recharge our energies with a good rest and put in our minds the wisdom, intelligence and discernment that we need to be able to make the best decisions. Give us strength not to collapse before the trials of life and to continue believing that You, the only God, our Lord, are always guiding our path.
I do not want to overlook, on this majestic night that leads me to reflection, those attitudes of mine that were not the best today. I beg your pardon, my Lord, if I have caused you pain, if I have been reckless with my neighbor and for all those sins that I commit day by day, my God. Take my life and renew it, Lord, because I am convinced that You are the only one capable of helping me, my God.
Forgive me wholeheartedly if I have not known how to live this day with enthusiasm and optimism. Help me, merciful Lord, so that tomorrow, if it is your will, I can wake up ready to be a better person with my family, my friends and all the people around me.
Beloved God, thank you very much for this day you gave me, for the blessings you sent on me, for my family, my friends, for the work of each day and for everything I experienced today. Thank you because I also know that if it is your will, my loving Lord, better days are yet to come upon me and all of us who believe in You. I ask you for all this and I thank you in the name of Jesus, Amen.
