CHRISTIANNEWS.COM- Jim Domen, born into a Christian home, says he felt very loved, but thought it was different, because he didn’t act like other guyswho liked sports, and girls.
CBN NEWS comments that Jim felt interested in arts and design. Because he was creative, he noticed things that other kids didn’t; However, when he reached the 7th year of his studies, he also began to feel attracted to boys.
He remembers that he did not have a good relationship with his parents. “He never hurt me, and he never abused me., no way. He was a good man, and a fair person,” he said.
“I think I’m gay”
As Jim grew older, so did his same-sex attraction. “But even the idea of” being gay “was disgusting to me,” he confessed.
Until one day, Jim decided to talk to his parents about his internal struggles. “I think I’m gay,” he confessed. The father told him that he had been dealing with it for how longand he replied “a few years ago”.
Upon hearing this, the father who never cried, began to sob disconsolately. The silence was awkward, and no one spoke of it again.
“Lost, depressed, and lonelier than ever”
Until the age of 23, Jim had never come out as homosexual, until he decided to live “the gay lifestyle.” He said“At first it was fun, but then it hit rock bottom.”
Jim described himself as “lost, depressed, and lonelier than ever,” he said, “On July 8, 2022, I heard the voice of God, telling me to return to Him.”said Jim, saying that he lost all his material possessions, but not his relationship with his Father.
“God never abandoned me”
Jim revealed that God changed his life. “I lay on the ground, and I said: God, I’m yours again”, and he felt that God had never abandoned him.
“He never left me, he continued to talk to me,” adding that His family welcomed him with open arms.and helped him find a cure.
Jim says that his hunger for the Scriptures became insatiable. Currently attends a church, reads the Bible, and claims to have found peaceand the love he was looking for.
In his journey of faith, Jim founded Church United with the goal of shaping the moral culture of communities in California. He says that his strategy is to train and equip the pastors, who are transformed into the culture.
