CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- Not long ago, the former satanist, Carl Sartor, described himself as someone who hated God. Today, the 35-year-old American has become a witness to the power of God.
Carl’s salvation story has gone viral on social media with more than 325,000 views on Facebook, CBN News reports.
Carl gave his life to Jesus on his first trip to Cross Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia in November 2021. He was an Atheist for 15 years and a Satanist for 5 years.
“I’ve always had this emptiness in my life. No matter what religion I attended, I always believed that when you died, that would be it and that’s it. You would go to the ground, ”she noted in an interview.
Carl, who is also a former meth addict, confesses that he has been running from God since he was 5 years old.
“I argued tooth and nail that He did not exist. He lived in a vicious cycle of drugs and alcohol. I had a serious anger problem. I blamed everyone and everything. I also blamed God.” he wrote in a Facebook post.

Carl said it wasn’t until he hit rock bottom in 2021 that he started to have an open mind about Jesus. “I couldn’t stand who he was and what was going on in my life. I tried to commit suicide, ”he explained.
Carl then decided to try going to Cross Church, where the preacher Rich Walters had invited him over a year ago.
“He said, ‘I’d love to have you in the service.’ I told him: I walk another path, friend. You would never catch me there. It’s going to be cold in hell before you see me in church.’”
But it was that invitation, a word of insight into Carl’s life, and a message about forgiveness that led him to turn away from Satanism and turn his life over to Christ.
Carl said: “I feel totally complete. I feel at peace with myself. There is no longer a void. I am spiritually alive now and that’s when he hugged me and I felt that love ».
Finally, he added: “God is real and I will continue to walk this path with Him by my side. By his grace, I am the best version of myself. My God is an amazing God and I pray that everyone experiences the love of him as I do,” he concluded.
