.- The conductor Maiky Backstage conducted an interview with Christian singers: Funky, Redimi2 and Alex Zurdo, where he asked them if they sang for God or for money.
The interviewer was insistent when asking the singers if money was what motivated them to make music.
The three Christian artists were emphatic in saying that their passion is not money, but singing for God.
Funky explained that artists are paid for the work they do and not for the message of God they preach.
“We sell the work we do… When you go to the bookstore and buy a Bible, they sell you the Bible for the paper, the cover, because a printer had to do that work… But they are not selling you the word of God”, Funky expressed.
When Maiky asked the singers again if they sang, it didn’t make money, Redimi2 replied: “A person is talking to you who, after two albums on the street, has gone to bed without eating.”
Rimi2 said that she keeps going because she knows that God’s promise to her was that it wasn’t always going to be wrong.
Likewise, Redimi2 said that he knows that he has a promise from God because of his word and not “because I dreamed of it with little birds flying.”
Redimi2 expressed that the greatest satisfaction that Christian artists have is knowing how their music restores lives.
