CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- Users of social networks circulate a video from 2018, where Gary Lee was recorded confronting two Mormons he did not know.
Gary Lee began by asking Mormons about the founder of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith. Upon receiving the response from the boys, he said that the religious leader mentioned had about 140 children and several wives.
The Mormons were avoiding a religious debate, so they asked Lee to talk in a quieter place (where he would avoid recording).
Gary Lee later told them that Mormons baptized the dead and wanted an explanation about the angel Moroni.
The pastor also questioned the Mormons about their belief in the trinity. The Mormons told him that they did not believe Jesus and God to be the same God.
Gary Lee continued to pressure the Mormons, questioning their belief in baptizing the dead, and the missionaries tried to avoid conflict by inviting him to speak elsewhere.
However, Lee kept asking and told them: “If you die today, God forbid, I hope you have many years, where are you going? The missionary said that he did not know, but the pastor immediately told him that the Bible states that everyone who has Jesus in their heart will go to heaven,
The missionaries tried not to respond to Lee’s urging, until one said that the Bible says pearls should not be fed to swine. Lee told him that they were insulting him, and he continued to question them.
Gary Lee ended the video by telling Mormons that Joseph Smith was hanged for all the crimes he committed, told them to preach the true gospel, and invited them to his campaign.
Opinions
The video has thousands of comments, where many question the pastor for disrespectfully confronting Mormons.
“I think it’s a lack of respect, they feel good there because only God has the power to judge everything in due time, he respects religions,” says user Danilson Andres Beato Pare.
Another user tells Gary Lee: “Disque Pastor… bon vivant of offerings, humility is lacking.”
