Scot Wolfe, 56, was taking a routine walk around Lindo Lake when he saw two women arguing. One of them began to scream and immediately entered the lake. But before they almost run her over when crossing a highway with a lot of traffic.
People immediately called the policeman, and several officers and rangers arrived. But she definitely jumped into the lake in the midst of some rather bizarre attitude, 10 News reports.
While they waited for a response from other patrols to control the situation, Scot realized that the woman had been in the water for more than 30 seconds and was not moving.
He says that the moment was so distressing that he began to pray for God to save the womanregardless of their behavior.
“The first thing I yelled was, ‘She’s not responding. She’s not breathing. I was praying in my head‘God Help us save her. God help us save her,’” the man said.
Being on land, they gave her first aid and she expelled the water that she had swallowed, the scene was impressive for Scot, who was the true hero of the situation.
The woman was taken to a hospital for a full recovery. At the same time, the police thanked the man for his courageous action at such a difficult time.
“We are very grateful to the Good Samaritan who assisted in these efforts, as well as the Lake Lindo County Parks team,” a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department said.
