.- Last Thursday, the page Christians a Day presented an investigation on Guillermo Maldonado’s prophecies that were never fulfilled (see video here).
Maldonado on different occasions has told his community that God speaks to him. However, the investigation shows that it is not the word of God that the religious leader has felt.
On October 18, 2015, Guillermo Maldonado said that a Christian president would arrive in Argentina, however, the prophecy was wrong since the two subsequent presidents were: the Buddhist, Mauricio Macri and Alberto Fernández, who openly supports the LGBT.
In 2018, William Maldonado assured that God had told him that Daniel Ortega would finish his term psoon, but months later Ortega won the elections.
Maldonado said in September 2019 that Evo Morales had a terminal illness, and that he would end up dead in the same way as the former president of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez. However, the former Bolivian president resigned as president and there are still no reports of any illness.
Another of Maldonado’s wrong prophecies was that God would judge China for its responsibility in the spread of the coronavirus.
“China is going to see tsunamis, the earth will shake,” Maldonado said on April 26, 2020, indicating that this would happen in the next few days, but this did not happen.
The moderator of the investigation on Maldonado, Esau Medina, explained that God is never wrong and does not lie, for this reason, those who say these false prophecies are the ones who deceive people.
