Heavy rains in Venezuela leave two dead and homes affected

.- The rains in Venezuela recorded on September 29, left two dead, two missing and dozens of homes affected.

At least 23 homes located in the El Garabatal sector, west of Barquisimeto in Lara state, were affected by heavy rainfall.

For his part, the governor of Mérida, Jehyson Guzmán, reported the death of a child who was missing “for about a week” after being dragged by the Limón river, in the Andrés Bello municipality,

The governor declared EFE that a man who was with the child is missing.

The government of Nicolás Maduro sent a ton of humanitarian aid to Lara state in response to the havoc caused by the rains in the central-western region.

César Pérez Ampueda, Vice Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, confirmed the information on Twitter where he shared several images.
