MONTEREY, MEXICO. – The Christian singer Jesús Adrián Romero published a video on his official Facebook account in which he highlighted: “I have decided to respond to everything that is said about me on social networks”, in which he promises that, in the next few days, he will launch three videos to clarify the false accusations made against him.
The reason, according to Jesús Adrián Romero, is because a friend told him that he was concerned about what is said on social networks and that possibly all the people who follow the singer may be believing everything they say against the psalmist.
Jesús Adrián Romero affirms that false news, half-truths and phrases taken out of context are disseminated on social networks and that they are the daily bread, that they do a lot of damage, that they can affect the elections of a president in a country, that they destroy a person’s reputation, they cause pain in a family, and according to him this has affected his family, the people he works for and even the congregation he pastors.
“I have had to apologize to them because they have to read all these things and I have thanked them because they continue to believe in me, despite everything that is said,” he said.
“Releasing a video that tells the dark side of Jesús Adrián has its intention, sensationalism, you can see it from its title, whoever makes it knows that this draws people’s attention,” says the psalmist and this is due to our sinful nature that makes that appeal to us and that is unfortunate and sad.
The latter alluding to the video released a few weeks ago by the EvangelioPuro.com portal.
The singer says that Christians should make a difference, but it is the opposite because according to him we are leaders in commenting and publishing false news and the reason why is because of the “false sense of justice, we believe we are holier, more zealous for the Truthfully, we comment with hate, with hurtful words, things against other people, and that should concern us as a church, as leaders, as pastors,” said the psalmist.
Jesús Adrián Romero also clarified why he has denounced and demanded that videos of him be eliminated and it is because they are false, because he is ashamed that these videos cause lawsuits, in addition to the bad testimony that we give as Christians to the world and finally because through those fake news about him, people make money and this is not going to allow it.
However, there is no explanation for the removal of videos uploaded by their own parishioners recorded in Epicentro services, in some cases showing the controversial topics that JAR preaches in their church. A video referenced in the Pure Gospel documentary shows the youth band from Epicenter Church performing the YMCA song by the pro-Homosexual band Village People during a service. A few days after the documentary was published, the video of the song was removed by the Vástago team on YouTube, the strange thing about all this is that the video was on their own channel, published by themselves.
Finally, the singer said that false news is made for two types of reasons: Knowing that it is false news but its objective is to discredit the person. The second reason is that “it is false news that people make in all sincerity thinking that they are fighting for the truth, that they are zealous for the truth, that they are supposedly doing what God calls them to do, and they take phrases out of line. context, false information to fight for the truth,” he said.
For the psalmist, the second false news is the one that hurts the most because it is done with the intention of proclaiming the truth and this type of intention “causes people to hate and fear.”
