CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- A video of preacher José Font is circulating on social networks in which he affirms that the Lord no longer uses preachers as much as before, because they have profited from their gifts.
“You know what happens, we rob God,” said the prophet. And he set himself as an example.
The preacher said that God used him to cure diseases and then he received freewill offerings.
Font recounted that God one day spoke to him about taking the offerings and told him that when he used prophets like Elijah, they did not take the gifts of people healed or prophesied.
“When God showed me that, I asked God for forgiveness, and I said: ‘Lord, I don’t touch another offering.’
Example
The prophet said that today’s preachers take offerings when it is God who performs miracles, adding that when Elisha was used by God to cure a man of leprosy, he did not want to receive gifts, because he knew that the miracle had made the Lord.
Likewise, Font explained that Eliseo said that there was an opportune time to receive offerings and he had to see when the ministry needed him, for example, to feed others.
The prophet explained that giving preachers money for receiving a miracle from God corrupts their hearts and the church.
Font assured that giving a person healing and receiving his gifts makes them pay when they need God, but they do not make a sincere commitment to the Lord.
Likewise, he noticed what the Lord says in his word: “Ay! of those prophets who prophesy well to those who fill their bellies and do not do it with those who do not fill their stomachs with food and goods”.
