.- Last Sunday, June 5, Jotta A attended a service at the inclusive evangelical church Cidade Refúgio in São Paulo, Brazil dressed as a woman.
The denomination is led by Pastor Lanna Holder and her partner, Pastor Rosânia Rocha. Cidade Refúgio is known for being one of the first churches aimed at the LGBTQ+ public.
The former gospel singer published some stories in the temple with the founders of the institution. Jotta A did not sing, only attended the service with some friends, reports Fuxico Gospel.
Let’s remember that the artist rose to fame in his childhood, when he still identified with the masculine gender. He being one of the greatest promises of gospel music.
The singer currently identifies as a trans woman, and has left the evangelical church and gospel music, to become a pop singer.
Jotta A did not say if he will join the denomination, or if this was just a casual visit, but in Haven City he will be very well received and will not be confronted about his sexual orientation.
It is worth mentioning that, on June 17 and 18, the “Atos VII Conference” will take place in Cidade Refúgio, and the Adventist gospel singer Leonardo Gonçalves is one of the confirmed attractions.
