Jotta opened the question box on his social network, and after a follower asked him if he had ever suffered any abuse, he ended up confirming it. However, she did not go into details, as she said that it was a very serious matter, and that she would tell more another day, reports Fuxico Gospel.
Having been one of the greatest revelations in Christian music, Jotta A has lived with fame since he was a child, since at the age of 11 he won the Young Talento Kids contest promoted by Raul Gil. Shortly thereafter, she signed with Central Gospel Music, Pastor Silas Malafaia’s record label.
In a recent interview with the singer, he revealed a few things he witnessed behind the scenes of the Gospel market. The artist said that he saw many pastors with lovers, and that his sister was even harassed by some religious.
In this same interview, Jotta A told more details about the abuse he suffered as a child. He said he was 8 years old when he was abused by a pastor who was a family friend of his.
According to the artist, on the day in question, the religious leader took him to his home. The two locked themselves in a room and the pastor’s wife stayed in another next door. One thing she remembers is that “the pastor had a lot of videos on the computer of him, some of it was childish,” said Jotta A.
The former Christian singer came out as bisexual during the 2020 pandemic. And this year, he revealed that he currently identifies as a trans woman.
