CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- Through his Facebook page, Pastor Juan Manuel Vaz assured that Christians do not come to Christ by chance, but that God attracts them with his presence.
The video has gone viral, garnering many likes and positive comments. “In the same way that Mephibosheth could not go to the king without someone taking him. We couldn’t go to Christ if the Father didn’t pick us up and lead us to Him,” said Pastor Vaz. (See video here).
Then he mentioned the different ways that people come to Christ. Some facing crisis, pain, illness, or some evangelistic campaign or led by friends.
“Somehow God sought us out and led us to Christ. We didn’t get up and say today I want to go to Jesus. One day he wasn’t in our plans, but the Lord devised a much better plan to draw us into his presence,” the pastor said.
Likewise, he said that: «We arrived for a friend and we stayed for Jesus, we arrived for an illness and we stayed for Jesus, we arrived for a debt and we stayed for Jesus. The important thing is not how we got there, the important thing is that we got there.”
Finally, he added that: «Brother, you are not the result of chance or you were lucky, you are here because the Lord moved your life in a way, so that in the end you could not bear the pain and you arrived. Before you were born, God already knew that one day you would be his son,” Pastor Juan Manuel Vaz concluded.
