Most of his fans believe that he made the comparison in response to his efforts to open Donda Academy. A Christian School located in Simi Valley, California, and named after West’s late mother, Christian Today reports.
Details about Donda Academy are still in short supply, but the school website states that students can expect “learn the fundamentals, grow in your faith, and experience two kinds of enrichment”. Which include choir, cinema, world languages and parkour, the extreme sport of traversing obstacles in a natural or artificial environment.
The site, which presents the mission statement “To be a reflection of the glory of God in the world”does not offer any information about the license plate beyond a statement that says:
“We are a tuition-based school. Everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of your finances Financial aid and scholarships are available for students who qualify.”
A Donda Academy consultant told Rolling Stone that enrollment for the school is fewer than 100 students and tuition is around $15 thousand dollars per year.
