NOTCIACRISTIANA.COM.- William da Silva is a Toluca player who always shows his Christian faith inside and outside the game. The soccer player is Brazilian but he became a Mexican national.
Since he was young, William loved soccer, but having a professional career was going to cost him because at the age of 16 he suffered a cardiac arrest, just a few days after making his debut. The player, unable to practice the sport of his dreams, went into depression and lost 10 kilos.
Da Silva says that a year later he took the exams again but went through yet another cardiac arrest.
As a result of his second episode, a friend invited him to get closer to God so that the Lord would perform a miracle of healing for him, although on the other hand the doctors told him that he could not play soccer.
The player met God and to this day he has been on his path for more than a decade. And not only that, but William says that God did a miracle for him and he was able to start playing soccer again.
Gratitude
The soccer player said that he is very grateful to God for the healing he did to him. So the player before starting each match bows on the ground and thanks God.
William said that when he is bowed down, he thanks God because he knows the value of being able to play a game that anyone would like to play.
On the other hand, he spoke about his notes, the player stated that this is the most special moment and he dedicates it to God and tells him that he does not forget what the Lord has done for him.
The player maintained that he has been mocked for his beliefs, but that he is sure of what he is and is sure of who keeps him, that is why he does not stop dedicating love to the Lord.
Likewise, William said that at this moment he leads a very happy life and instills Christianity in his children, he also commented that living in health has made him grow as a man and gave him the opportunity to learn about other things that fill him.
