.- A film of faith based on the experiences of former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner will be brought to theater screens, as reported by the Christian Headline information portal.
Jon and Andrew Erwin will direct the film American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story which will show faith to the audience under the production company Kingdom Story Company lo.
The Erwin brothers already have experience directing religious films. The filmmakers directed the faith films: I Still Believe, I Can Only Imagine Y woodlawn.
Warner’s life story sounds like something out of a movie. He can be seen from the way he started out in football. At the time he made the Iowa Barnstormers team he worked in a grocery store.
The player was later signed by the St. Louis team that led him to win the Super Bowl twice (1999 and 2000).
On the other hand, the actor Zachary Levi will play the character of Warner.

Erwin told Cristian Headline that this was one of the best movies about losers.
He also said that the film’s story is strong and predicted that the film would be a success.
He also highlighted the lucky breaks that highlight the movie: It’s like Jerry Maguire meets Rocky, from the supermarket to the Super Bowl.”
Warner played college football at northern Iowa, completing his senior season in 1993.
“He was out of football for a number of years, playing Arena on weekends and stocking shelves,” Andrew Erwin told Christian Headlines. “He married a single mother who had two children, one with special needs. He got one last chance [en la NFL] to fight for his family and went all the way to the Super Bowl.”
