Learn more about Kike Pavón’s version: “My best adoration”

.- This is the first song from Kike Pavón’s second album “Ayer y hoy” which paid tribute to the important movement of Latin American Christian artists of the 90s that toured many churches. Information collected by CFA Radio.

Pavón brought together different artists from that time to sing with him in this tribute.

The first single from this remarkable album was “Mi mejor adoración” which sings with its original author Juan Carlos Alvarado.

One year after the first release of the album “Ayer y hoy” it surpassed the figure of one million 500 thousand visits on YouTube.

“My best adoration”

This song is composed by Alvarado in 1993 and was highlighted during the psalmists movement in Latin America in the 90s.

Despite the changes in this version by Kike Pavón, the theme continues to maintain nuances of the music of the 90s.

Pavón highlighted the importance of the birth of the lyrics of this song: “Juan Carlos Alvarado wrote it in the midst of the worship congresses that were held at the time, in which people were very excited; It was the time when the church was awakening to praise and adoration”, he added that the lyrics invited not to have a merely emotional encounter with God, but a complete surrender.

The cante expressed that it relates the verses of this song with a kind of prayer for the time in which Christian music was attracting a lot of attention in Latin America.

He added that at that time there was “a request to stay focused on the fact that our best worship is our obedience and that what we are looking for is an encounter with the God we adore.”

In “Yesterday and today” Kike sings along with performers such as: Jaime Murrell, Enrique Pavón, Marcos Vidal, Juan Carlos Alvarado, Marcos Witt and Ranan Carias.

The album “Ayer y hoy” is produced by Kike Pavón under the production company Heaven Music.
