Learn to pray in 10 minutes
1.- Begin by knowing how to listen. Heaven emits night and day.
2.- Do not pray for God to carry out your plans, but for you to interpret God’s plans.
3.- But do not forget that the strength of your weakness is prayer. Christ said, “Ask and you shall receive”
4.- Asking has its technique. Make him attentive, humble, trusting, insistent and united to Christ.
5.- Don’t know what to say to God? Tell him about your mutual interests. Many times. And alone.
6. -Do not turn your prayer into a monologue, you would make God the author of your own thoughts.
7. – When you pray don’t be smug or too humble. With God there are no tricks. Be as you are.
8.-And involuntary distractions? Don’t worry. God, and the sun, tan just by standing in front of it.
9. – If you ever think that when you speak to God He doesn’t answer you…, read the New Testament.
10.-Never speak of “prayer times”; Have a “prayer life.”
