Letter to the Child Jesus

Letter to the Child Jesus

Don’t come back, it’s not worth it

Letter to the Child Jesus

Dear Jess,

It’s been days since we wrote you a letter, but we don’t dare mail it, it carries bad news. And you know that depending on what things are said, it is very difficult to say them. We hope you understand us, that’s why we put it in the mail.

Christmas is coming, the day you want to return to earth.

We thought it’s not worth your time to come back. The reasons why your return seems useless to us are many:

At Christmas parties every year the same thing happens: a few days of partying, better meals, elegant dresses, lots of drinking, presents, sleepless nights. . . And the day after the Kings arrives and everything and everyone continues as before the holidays.

We see that there are many things that are going wrong around here and it does not seem that they are going to be fixed: people without work or poorly paid, people who have a home and a family, but live as if they did not have one, marriages that live badly, towns that do not they help each other. . . and in the cities: attacks, rapes, misery, etc. And in many parts of the world war and hunger.

Your Christmas is a business to feed those who are already fed up: to make fun of “Peace to men of good will…”. Gifts are given to those who already have or to those from whom a favor is expected. The brothers from afar or who are not “ours” do not receive a crumb of our things, what can they think of our Christmas?

You see? It’s no use for you to come back. There are very few who will listen to you. Do not wake up the shepherds, do not call the Angels, do not make the Kings walk in vain. Stay in heaven and you’ll have a better time.

Sorry if we have gone too far with our advice, but they are realistic. They are more interested in money, banquets, gifts, weapons than the “Nio del portal” and what he can tell us.

We wanted to end by saying “goodbye” which means that you continue with God. We ended up telling you: “With-the-men”, fix this as you can because you continue with the men.

Yours.

Some young.

Jess’s response

Dear friends:

I thank you for your letter. We have read it with José and María and all of us in heaven have commented on it. Do not be afraid to explain your things to me no matter how black they seem to you. I am interested in them and I promise that none of your letters will go unanswered. You wrote to me: “It’s not worth it for you to come back because many people don’t pay attention to that.” Here I know that you are mistaken from half to half. I have to explain to you two things: One, how I am already among you -and within you- and another, how almost all men seek me and usually find me. Any day we can talk. For now, start thinking about it and above all try to experience it.

Now, on the eve of December 25, I want to remind you of some ways to celebrate Christmas. Christians like you celebrate it, we celebrate it very well. Listen.

– Every time you think of others you understand CHRISTMAS

– Every time you pray and help to pray you discover CHRISTMAS.

– Every time you admire and love beauty, life, justice, goodness, you love and admire CHRISTMAS.

– Every time you decide to forgive, console. understand, create joy. . ., you anticipate CHRISTMAS.

– Every time you discover your miseries and accept them and count on yourself and me, you wish for CHRISTMAS.

– Every time you, boyfriend, treat the girlfriend you love; every time you, husband, treat your wife as Joseph treated Mary. Every time you, girlfriend, treat the boyfriend you want; every time you, wife, treat your husband as Maria treated José… you already enjoy CHRISTMAS.

– Every time the older ones see the little ones as similar to me, to Jesus; Every time you little ones know how to see my Father in the older ones, you make CHRISTMAS come.

– Every time you prepare or are already a good, honest and capable professional, you ensure a lifetime of CHRISTMAS.

– Every time you look for the poor, the nameless, the needy, you celebrate and celebrate CHRISTMAS.

It won’t finish. Unemployment. You are smart enough and good people to continue the list and find a way to celebrate your Christmas, my Christmas, our Christmas.

Regards to parents, siblings and friends; the grandparents and the most unfortunate of the town. Say hello for me to those who find it hard to say hello. I am with you and with each one of you.

Jess
