MacArthur Warns California Governor Over His Abortion Campaign

CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- Pastor John MacArthur called on California Governor Gavin Newsom to repent for his recent campaign on abortion, reports Christian Post.

Newsom launched the billboard campaign on September 15 in seven US states. The goal is to let women who need an abortion know that they can do it in California without any problems.

Some of the messages on the billboards read: “Texas does not own your body. You are.” “Need an abortion? California is ready to help.”

MacArthur told the governor in a public letter how deeply rebellious he is against God.

“You further compounded the evil of that murderous campaign with a reprehensible act of gross blasphemy, quoting the very words of Jesus in Mark 12:31 as if you could somehow twist their meaning and arrogate your name in favor of sacrificing children. unborn,” he wrote.

MacArthur expressed personal concern for Newsom’s soul, which, he said, “is in grave and eternal danger.” And he claimed that he had an evil worldview that he is manifesting in California.

He closed the letter by telling the governor that Grace Community Church, located in Sun Valley, California, and “countless Christians across the country, are praying for your full repentance.”
