Dear brothers of Yo Believe in God, many blessings for all of you on this day.
At different times in our lives, without realizing it, we seek to get away from our problems or seek happiness in things that can destroy us, such as alcohol, gambling or harmful drugs.
However, after a short time we realize that happiness is not in this type of thing, and that is when we feel that we can no longer do it, that we are on the brink of the abyss. And it is in those precise moments of desperation that we must stop and remember that God in his infinite mercy has given us a powerful tool that is prayer, to get away from these evils and set us free.
That is why on this occasion we bring you this powerful Prayer to put ourselves in the presence of God and ask for his help in this daily combat.
We invite you to pray this prayer for 21 days in a row, with great faith and love, with the conviction that our good Father will help us.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Oh my glorious Lord, because of your infinite and deep love, because of your immense compassion, I ask you to give me your favor so that with your powerful help, I can get out of my addictions and vices as soon as possible.
Oh my beautiful and pious Lord, do not let me fall into temptation, cover me with your holy mantle, allow me to be a great follower of yours and be worthy of your generosity and mercy.
“Glorious God!, illuminate the darkness of my heart and give me upright faith, certain hope and perfect charity. Lord, today with all my being I ask you for assistance: open the doors to peace and hope again, shelter me inside your good and noble heart and help me to purify my soul and my body.
You, my good Jesus, who works great wonders and miracles in favor of those who take refuge under your protection, you who do not despise those who come to you with a humble and repentant heart, but rather attend to their pleas, now that I feel full of desperation I invoke you with fervor and request your help and understanding.
Instill in me your spirit of surrender, pray for me and obtain for me the blessings that I need so much so that I can free myself from all my addictions, save and heal this humble sinner who wants to abandon everything that binds him forever.
Put the right means and people within my reach, give me patience and strength so as not to falter or abandon my intentions of getting out of these vices, I want to leave forever this debauchery that consumes me inside and out and makes me move away from my loved ones, I want to find a solution to my problems and get out of this agony.
My good Lord, do not leave me alone, I want to free myself from the ties and dependencies, I need to get out of this that is the cause of my suffering: (Tell the Lord your problems and ask for his help)
Blessed Jesus, may my pleas reach you, keep me away from excesses, vices, violence, help me overcome addictions and dependencies.
May my prayers be heard and attended to, fill me with your love, help me so that my life changes for the better and do not allow this bad situation to continue, which harms my life and that of my loved ones so much.
Lord, thank you for listening to me, I know that you will reach out your hand and everything that I long for so much will become possible. Lord, give me self-control, take me out of the deep well in which I find myself and allow me to accept your help, anoint me with the divine grace of your powerful love, because there are no impossible things for you, separate me from debauchery, from darkness and from the evil one who wants to lose in eternal death.
Oh beloved God listen to my cry, if you want you can clean me, because you have the power to heal me, get me out of debauchery, alcoholism, drug addiction, free me from bad friends, from the environment that leads me to fall and tear me from the claws of evil, of misery and slavery, of pain and crying, because all this makes me suffer.
Almighty and merciful Lord, I believe that you will heal me, because only in you is my trust placed and that is why I prostrate myself before you to tell you, “save me and help me to live to give you thanks for your greatness”.
Guide me my God for your immense love, for your kindness, give me awareness of my wrongdoing, give me wisdom and defend me from darkness, show me the way to go and give me the strength to persist on this path of good. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
