.- Recently the Christian pastor and singer, Marcos Witt, published a video on his Instagram account about one of his sermons where he explains the meaning of the word amen.
Witt explained that amen is a word used by Christians to say so be it, and it shows that the person saying it is a person of faith.
He also explained that amen means that it be done according to the word of God.
The singer stressed that when the Lord speaks there is only one answer to give and that is “Amen”.
Marcos Witt used as an example of how wonderful the word “amen” is, explaining the situation when Mary found out that she would have the son of God.
The pastor assured that María, faced with what could be a difficult situation for society, said let it be done with me according to her will. “That is having faith. That’s why God chose her,” he said.
Witt joked that if instead of María, a girl from Monterrey or Del Valle was chosen to say that she is going to have a child, she would have immediately said no.
The pastor concluded by telling the audience that I wish many more people would be like Mary and say a great amen to accept the will of the Father.
