.- Matías Fernández is a player born in Argentina of Chilean nationality who stands out for his good football but also for his Christian faith.
The 34-year-old player became the third Chilean to be the best in America, according to his profile on the Wikipedia page.
Matías began his career as a footballer at Unión la Calera, this is the club in the town where he arrives when he goes to Chile.
He made his debut in the first division with Colo-Colo, a team with which he played in the lower categories.
The first team with which he played internationally was Villarreal of the Spanish First Division.
Other clubs for which Matías passed were: Colo-Colo, Sporting de Lisboa, Fiorentina, Ac Milan, Necaxa and Junior de Barranquilla.
