Critical evaluation: Magnificent film that describes the biography of San Damín de Molokai, very well interpreted by Javier Escriv. Father Damin arrived on the island of Molokai in 1873 to care for the lepers forced to live on this island in the Hawaiian archipelago. After many years of religious and medical care for lepers, he manages to attract the attention of the authorities and manages to improve the living conditions of these patients. The film very well describes the dedication of the priest, the sacrifice and hard work that he carries out on the island until he gives up his own life, since he finally gets leprosy.
