Merciful Lord, so great is your goodness and your love towards me, that today once again you give me the opportunity to open my eyes in a new day and enjoy your creation. Thank you Lord for the life you give me and thank you, because you give me the honor of being able to call me your son.
My God, I do not know what You have prepared for me on this day, I do not know your plans, my Lord, but I know that the mere fact of being alive has a purpose, that is why in this day I entrust myself into your hands and I give you my life completely; my health, my family, my friends, my work, every part of my life and each one of my surroundings, I give it to you, good Father, so that your will and not mine may be done.
Today I want to live this day to the full, because every day you give me I understand that it has a reason for being, that is why today I want to live every second of this day with joy and happiness. Help me to give my best in all the activities I do and to act according to your Word, my Lord.
May each of my actions and my thoughts be done under your will, my glorious Lord, Well, I want to please you, I want to be a living offering with my attitude, that’s why I ask you to help me be patient with my neighbor, with my family and with each one of the people around me, beloved Lord.
I put this new day in your hands, God blessed; cover me and mine with your Most Precious Blood, so that we may be protected by your love and know how to conduct ourselves on the path of righteousness and good deeds. Keep evil away from us and take care of us in any dangerous situation. Be You my refuge in time of anguish and my shield in time of struggle, good Father.
Only You are the only one who knows my destiny, that is why I leave everything in your hands, because I know that You are already acting and guiding my steps. Take me on safe paths paths of faith and hope, because I am convinced that being by your side, everything can be possible, my God.
Take those longings from my heart. You know my goals and my dreams, so I ask you on this day to help me make them a reality. Give me the strength I need to be able to work as if everything depended on me and the patience necessary to trust in You, because yours is the last word, my God.
Fill me with your blessed Holy Spirit and pour out on me all the gifts and charisms I need to be able to move forward according to your will. Give me discernment to be able to distinguish the good from the bad, wisdom to be able to make the best decisions and optimism to always expect the best results of everything I do in your holy name, beloved Lord.
I will live this day with faith and joy, because where you are, nothing is needed. Thank you for listening to me, incomparable Lord, thank you for receiving with so much love this prayer that I raise to heaven for your infinite mercy. Stay by my side, my good God, because if You are with me, I have nothing to fear, Amen.
